Dress Code

What to wear, event by event

We'd love for you to dress up with us — Indian festive attire is the perfect excuse. Here's a guide for each part of the day.

Haldi & Lunch

Casual & stainable

10:30 AM – 2:00 PM

White or yellow, and nothing precious — turmeric stains are forever. Breezy and comfortable is the goal.

Baraat, Shadi & High Tea

Festive formal

3:00 – 6:00 PM

Traditional Indian festive formal — sherwanis, saris, lehengas. You'll wear this straight through the Baraat, Shadi and high tea, so there's no change in between — pick shoes you can dance in, and please avoid all-white (reserved for family traditions).

Reception & DJ Night

Glam

8:00 PM – Late

Cocktail or formal, Indian or Western — this is the moment to sparkle.

Good to know

  • Evenings are cool (~12°C / 54°F) — a shawl or light jacket is smart for the outdoor Shadi and high tea.
  • Three looks in all: Haldi whites in the morning, festive formals for the ceremony, and something glam for the night.
